JennifJennifer Jarviser JarvisGeneral Manager
Jennifer has been in the funeral industry for over 30 years and holds a dual license for Indiana and Georgia. She is a native of Indiana and a graduate of Vincennes University. Since joining the team at Southern Cremations and Funerals, she has implemented many organizational tools that have set up a smoother process for our families. When it comes to the families we serve, she is a strong advocate and comfort to them through each step of the process. She is known for going above and beyond in everything that is asked of her or anything that she feels needs to be accomplished.

When Jennifer is not at work she enjoys working outside and playing with her sweet pup, Mila. She is very active in her community and is a joy to be around.

Duane K. MedfordFuneral Director
Duane was born and raised in Newport News, Virginia. In late 1978 he moved to Alabama where he became interested in Funeral Service. After completing his apprenticeship, Duane enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and stayed 3 years on active duty then transferred to the Air National Guard, becoming a member of the 116TFW at Dobbins Air Force Base, Marietta, Georgia. While in the Air National Guard, Duane completed his studies at Gupton-Jones College of Funeral Service. In 1990, Duane was called back onto active duty for Desert Shield/Storm. After the Storm, Duane remained on active duty and became part of the Counterdrug Interdiction efforts in South and Central America, all the while serving in an embalmers capacity at local funeral homes wherever he was stationed. Duane Retired from the US Air Force in 2008.

Duane has three children and three Grandchildren. Duane has visited every state in our beautiful country with the exception of Alaska. Duane is planning a trip to Alaska Soon! Duane spends his off time in the North Georgia Mountains and down on the Appaloosa River, just enjoying nature.

Naomi FannNaomi FannFuneral Director
A native of Louisiana, Naomi has been a resident of Georgia for over 10 years. She is a graduate of the Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Service in Houston, TX, and is a licensed funeral director and embalmer in the State of Georgia and Louisiana. Naomi has a fondness and passion for funeral service and the families that she serves. She is a certified crematory operator. Her teammates describe her as caring, funny, hardworking, and a true friend.

In her spare time, Naomi likes to spend time outdoors. She enjoys antique cars and quality time with friends.

Jordan ScottJordan ScottApprentice Funeral Director
Jordan Scott attended Gupton-Jones College, where he earned an Associate’s degree in Funeral Service. Although he graduated in 2012, he’s been involved in the cemetery profession for the majority of his life. More than anything, Jordan loves that his role at Southern Cremations and Funerals at Cheatham Hill Memorial Park allows him to help others in a time of need and be a part of their healing process.

Outside of work, Jordan loves playing basketball and spending time with his dogs, Tyson and Laila.

Troy HallTroy HallFuneral Assistant
Troy Hall joined the staff of Southern Cremations and Funerals in the early February of 2016. He was born and raised in Paulding County, and graduated from Paulding County High School in 2000. Troy was called to preach the summer of that same year. He went on to college and received a degree in computers. Troy also attended Bible College for 2 years at Atlanta Bible College and Georgia Baptist Seminary. He has been a licensed minister for around 15 years and loves ministering to people in any way the Lord presents the opportunity. Troy is married to Yolanda Hall and has a beautiful 6-year-old daughter.

In Troy’s words, “I have experienced a lot in my life physically and mentally, which has helped me to help others in life. I have had 6 major heart surgeries including a heart transplant so life is very precious to me, so I try to live every day as my last. All these trials in my life have made me who I am and gave me a great compassion.”


Leonel VillanuevaLeonel Villanueva Funeral Assistant
Leonel is a native of Venezuela. He moved to the United States in 1997 and has been in the funeral industry for 7 years. Leonel is one of the first people that our families get to see, and enjoys being the comfort as he helps the families to prepare for the next steps. Leonel’s professionalism and character show strongly in his everyday work ethic and compassion for the families he serves. He has a kind heart and has been a great addition to the Southern Cremations & Funeral family.

When Leonel is not at work he enjoys going to the gym, being around friends and family. He also enjoys spending time with his doggie, Chloe.

Donna Allen Donna AllenPreplanning Specialist
A Native of Massachusetts, Donna has over 17 years’ experience in the cemetery and funeral profession. Besides being a certified cemeterian, she is a licensed Life Insurance agent in Georgia. When not working, Donna enjoys spending time traveling and visiting her son and daughter-in-law in Nashville, TN.


Dwight GardnerDwight GardnerPreplanning Specialist
Dwight Gardner is a native of Southwestern Louisiana. He is a father of four and grandfather of five. He has been a Family Service Counselor for over sixteen years. He is compassionate and committed to servicing and assisting families in their time of need. He is an active member and holds a state position in the Knights of Peter Claver National Catholic Church Organization earning various medals of service. He is an active and dedicated member of his church, community and various youth sports programs. His motto is “If I can be a comforter, a helper, an inspiration to others than I have lived a purposeful life”.

Angela ReedAngela ReedOffice Administrator
Angela Reed is a native of Bloomington, Illinois. She joined the Cheatham Hill Memorial Park team in 2016. She enjoys working here at Cheatham Hill and the diversity that her job brings into her life. She has been a great addition to the company and helps wherever she can. Her kindness can be seen in interactions with families as well as heard when answering the phones.

When Angela is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and children. They enjoy football season and their family nights together.

Amy ThortonData Entry
Amy Thornton joined our team in November, 2015 as a data entry clerk. Outside of work, Amy shares a love of old movies with her sister and mom. She is active in her local church where she enjoys singing in the church choir with her son and spending precious time with her family and friends.

Nate WhiteNate WhiteCemetery Supervisor
Nate White is an integral member of the team at Southern Cremations and Funerals at Cheatham Hill Memorial Park. He has been in the cemetery profession since 2011, and loves that his role at our Cheatham Hill Memorial Park allows him to work outside.

When Nate is not at the park, you can find Nate reading, watching movies, bike riding, and playing with his dogs.
