Alec Jordan Smith, age 26, passed away suddenly on Monday, August 2, 2021. Alec is survived by his father Robert E Smith Jr. of Acworth, GA, his mother Kimberly D Smith of Woodstock, GA, his brother Stephen “Blake” Smith of Acworth, GA, his grandfather Fred L Hindsman of Powder Springs, GA, his grandfather Michael D Couch (Kitty) of Brooksville, FL, his grandfather Robert E Smith Sr. of Bowling Green, KY, his aunt Cheri Bowker (Kevin) of Acworth, GA, his cousin Jade Bowker, his aunt Christi Stephens (Todd) of Destin, FL, his uncle Michael L Smith (Litta) of Bowling Green, KY, cousins Colby, Dalton, Braden, his uncle Phillip T Smith (Becky) of Bowling Green, KY, cousins Charlie, Rowland, his niece India Dutton of Cartersville, GA. He preceded in death by his grandmother Valerie (Vicki) Adams-Hindsman and his grandmother Patricia Gilbert Smith.
He was born on May 25, 1995 in Lithia Springs, GA, to parents Robert and Kimberly Smith. He graduated from Allatoona High School in Acworth, GA and attended the University of West Georgia. He lived in Kennesaw, GA and worked diligently in sales.
Alec was a very loving, compassionate, and giving individual. He was passionate about sports and played lacrosse for Allatoona High School. He was a team player in anything and everything that he pursued. He was a very charismatic and humorous person who loved to make others laugh. He was loved by all who graced his presence. He was strong willed and put 100% into everything he did including work and relationships. He loved music, was well versed in many genres, and loved to play the guitar. He loved his family and friends deeply and would go out of his way to insure that they felt special to him.
A visitation is scheduled for Friday, August 6 at Cheatham Hill Memorial Park/Cemetery at the Chapel in the Cemetery 1861 Dallas Hwy, Marietta, Ga. From 5pm- 8:30pm with light refreshments served. We will have additional visitation at 1pm Saturday August 7 with the funeral service following at 3pm. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Alec’s life. The family would like to thank you for your concern and prayers. Flowers can be sent the Chapel at Cheatham Hill Memorial park.
