Alma Lockett

Alma Lockett age 96, passed away on November 1, 2021 at Southern Regional Hospital. She was born to Pheny and Lofton Hoytt in Cottage Grove, Alabama. She later married Denson Graham. Alma became a member of the “Peace in the Goodwill Baptist Church. She attended Cottage Grove High School and was a member of the girls basketball team. She moved to Anniston, Alabama and became a member of Haven Chapel where she worked as an usher. Alma later moved to Cleveland, Ohio and remarried to Alex Lockett. She worked as a Nurse Aide for 35 years and retired from Fairview General Park Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio. She was also a member of “Grace Missionary Baptist Church” where she served on the Usher Board, also in Cleveland, Ohio. Alma was predeceased by her parents Lofton and Pheny Hoytt, son Henry Graham, son Albert Graham, and son Dennis Graham. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, son Eddie Graham and daughter in law Lillian Johnson Graham; daughter in law Mary Graham; daughter in law Marilyn Graham; daughter in law Geraldine Meriweather; 13 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
