Marietta Southern Cremations & Funerals
Anastasia Watkinson (Stacy Snyder), 54, passed away following a brief illness on May 20, 2022 at Emory Hospital in Decatur, Georgia while in their care. Born on October 21, 1967 in Columbus, Ohio, Ana was the daughter of John Snyder and Anita (Johnson) Snyder.
Ana's passion for life was infectious. With a lifelong love of travel, Ana traveled the world extensively and spent several years living and working in England. Professionally, Ana worked as a project manager specializing in emergency response for over a decade and a half.
Ana could often be found reading literature, books about travel and food, practicing her French, catching an Atlanta United soccer match, or cheering on the Ohio State Buckeyes. She was devoted to her temple community, a lover of animals and her beloved pets, and enjoyed catching up with friends and family on the weekends and during the holidays. All that knew her will always remember her intrepid spirit, quick wit, and love of laughter.
Ana is survived by her father and his wife, John and Anne Snyder; brother and sister-in-law Jason and Cheri Snyder; brother and sister-in-law Robin and Diana Snyder; nephews Andrew, John, and Joey Snyder; aunt Bonnie Johnson; cousin and wife, Kurt and Barb Johnson, cousin and wife, Tom and Barb Johnson; and numerous extended family members and devoted friends who loved her and will miss her dearly. She was preceded in death by her mother Anita Snyder, sister Kim Snyder, and uncle Charles Johnson.
A ceremony will be held on June 30 at the Drepung Loseling Monastary and a private gathering to celebrate her life will follow in mid-July. Gifts in Anastasia's memory may be made to the Drepung Loseling Monastary: https://www.drepung.org/

We had many laughs during sleepovers growing up. Rest in peace.
We are so sorry for your loss. We knew her as Ana…she was a beautiful spirit, pretty and witty, lovely and lively.
I just learned of her passing. Beyond heartbreaking! Words can’t express.. She brought so much life into my world and made me a better person.
I have only just learned about Ana’s death and it has saddened me enormously. Ana was my ex Sister-in-law and I haven’t spoken to her since she left the UK. Nevertheless, her death is so very sad. A free spirit off into the Universe. I can only send my loving thoughts and best wishes to all her family and friends left behind. Namaste. RIP Ana
