Angela Louise Adams, age 69, passed away peacefully on August 16, 2025. She was born on February 15, 1956, in Fairburn, Georgia, to the late Adolphus D. Adams and Flo Adams (Netherland). Angela is survived by her children John Herman McClure and Louise Isabelle Lester (Kyle); her grandchildren Adam McClure, Ray McClure, Gable McClure, Willow McClure, Elizabeth Harrison, Sarah Harrison, Paige Allen (Landon), Jensen Tabor-McClure, Lexi Lester, Logan Lester, and Jackson Watts; her sister Shirley Mays, brother's John Mays (Darlene), Anthony Adams (Lynn), and David Mays (Betty); She also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, and numerous family members that she loved dearly. She was preceded in death by her beloved mother Flo Adams, father Adolphus D. Adams, and Tommie P. Adams. Angela will be remembered as a caring, loving woman who found joy in her family, her pets, and her church family. Her memory will remain a blessing to all who knew and loved her. A visitation will be held at 12:00pm at Harvest Baptist Tabernacle in Jonesboro, GA, with a service following at 1:00pm. Burial will take place at Holly Hill Memorial Park, located at 359 SW Broad Street, Fairburn, GA after the service.

We went to church with her at bro Joe’s church she was a very sweet lady and kalli loved to sit before church started and talk to her she will greatly be missed by all who knew her and loved her but remember this is not good bye we will all see her again when God calls us home we are praying for all of you and love yall

I remember the good times that me and Angela had together I was 7 years older than her but we still had fun together laughing and cutting up she was a beautiful sister of mine and I loved her with all my heart and I’m so sorry that she has left us but she don’t have to suffer no more no more pain and she’s in heaven smiling down on us so what more would anybody want I pray for b e l l e and her whole family and friends comfort everybody’s heart and spirit I love you b e l l e with all my heart honey and I’ve been praying for you eczema isn’t always obvious

You was a fun an loving sister we did things together like concerts like AC/DC,George Jones etc when I was younger that we hid from mama for years because she would have killed us lol an many other memories I still want mention to this day lol,lol you taught me to dance,tie my shoes,an protected me many times in my lifetime we have had so many experiences together that I will never forget love you an I’ll see you in Heaven

  11. You were the most strongest and beautiful woman I have ever known. Not just because you are my Mama but because you showed me you can go through the very worst of times and still always be smiling with that big beautiful smile you always had.
    I am going to miss you so very much but I know you are in the hands of the One who carried you through all of this and gave you peace, comfort, happiness and strength through it all.
