Audrey Ruth Edwards

Audrey Edwards age 90, passed away on Saturday January 29, 2022. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Audrey was also a devoted secretary for the Atlanta Public School System, from where she retired after 28 years of service. Her family describes her as the “rock” of the family, she was the biggest supporter of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Edward Edwards, parents Ivy and Bertha Roberts, son-in-law Charles Gibby, and grandson Andrew Gibby. Audrey leaves behind to cherish her memory daughters Rhonda (Richard) Clyatt and Vicki Gibby; brother James Winton Roberts; sister Janice Tyson; grandchildren Jeffrey (Sharon) Clyatt, Christopher (Patricia) Gibby, Brian (Daryl Balzer) Clyatt, Brandon (Carrie) Gibby, and Jonathan Gibby; great grandchildren Lathan Gibby, Paislie Gibby, Colton Clyatt, Carson Gibby, and Tyler Clyatt; and a host nieces, nephews, and friends.
