Barbara Enfinger McDowell passed from this world May 1, 2024, at 12:25amShe passed peacefully.She had been living in Country Gardens Senior Living in Union City, Georgia for a little over a year under Hospice care.Barbara was 13 days short of being 89 years old. She was born May 14, 1935, in Pensacola, Florida. She was the sixth child of eight born to William and Margaret Enfinger. She is survived by one sister (Marion Banks) and a sister-in-law(Verna Enfinger), two daughters Cynthia Kay Preston (Stephen) and Sandra Faye McDowell(Joseph Saling).Barbara had three grandchildren, the oldest Bradley Scott Preston passed in 2020, the two surviving are Caryn Michelle Preston, and Joshua Todd Preston (April).She is also survived by many nephews, nieces, and cousins.Barbara was a member of Mid- Fayette church of Christ in Fayetteville, Georgia.In her younger years she thoroughly enjoyed fishing, gardening, blackberry picking and road trips. She had many friends who will miss her conversations, stories, and unselfish giving nature. There will be no service, just loving, shared words between family and friends.
