Bee Keng Quek

Bee Keng Quek, 84, of Acworth, Georgia, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on Monday, May 13, 2024. Bee was born December 18, 1939, in Singapore, then she moved to the U.S., and finally moving to Georgia to be close to her daughter. She was an avid gardener, gifted seamstress, and a talented cook. Bee also enjoyed her jobs as a realtor, food demonstrator, and beaded jewelry maker in her younger days and started her career as a flight attendant in her 20s. Her other passion was watching comedies on TV such as The Golden Girls, Three’s Company, and The Andy Griffith Show. Bee is survived by her children, Deanna Liebert and Malcolm Hee, along with numerous friends and family members in Singapore. She will be greatly missed by all. In lieu of flowers, we are requesting donations to be made to: Wellstar Hospice Care at Kennesaw Mountain and thank them for their dedication and care they extended to Bee in her final days. A memorial will be held on Friday, May 17, 2024, 10:30am at Southern Cremations & Funerals in the Columbarium building. We ask for everyone to dress comfortably and casually.
