Billy “Daryl” Ramsey passed away suddenly on March 24, 2024, he was 58 years old. He was born on December 22, 1965.
Daryl is predeceased by his son, Travis Ramsey and his father, Billy Joe Ramsey. He is survived by his mother, Peggy Ramsey; son, Taylor Ramsey; and granddog, Biddy.
Daryl is lovingly remembered by sister, Tammie Buice (Jeff); niece, Ashley Head (Andrew); great niece, Sadie Head; great nephew, Miller Head; and a host of family and friends.
Daryl will always be remembered for his enthusiasm for talking about sports. He was an avid reader (especially about sports), loved boxing (it was his favorite sport), and he loved Roberto Durán (his favorite boxer). Daryl could tell you anything about boxing and his cousin, Bubba, referred to him as a “walking encyclopedia of Boxing.” Outside of boxing, as a child, he loved to watch wrestling and “The American Dream,” Dusty Rhodes.
A Celebration of Life will be held for Daryl at White Oak Park on Sunday, April 7, 2024, from 4:00 to 6:00 PM. Address is 298 Mustang Dr., Dallas, GA 30132.

I met Daryl at SkyView elementary long about 1974 I remember he could draw very good to be his age we would talk about wrestling and he would draw wrestling pictures for me we both loved Dusty Rhodes but when I would visit him as a kid he would say because he had the same intestells of Dusty Rhodes he had to be him I I lost contact with him a couple of years after elementary school until my first day in high school I looked out in what we called the smoke hole and there he was once again we had our spats but I never lost my feelings for him as a friend
