Bobby "Bob" Joe Maner Jr., also known as THRASH, of Florence, Alabama, passed in Atlanta, Georgia on Thursday, April 18, 2024. He was 55 years old. Bob was born on August 24, 1968.
Bob is predeceased by his father, Bobby Joe Maner Sr.; mother, Sara Nell Blakenship; and grandson, Trysten William Muse. He is survived by former wife of 16 years, Jeanie Corrina (McWilliams) Maner. Bobby will be lovingly remembered by sons, Tyler Maner (Ashley), Elijah Allison, Levi Allison (Charlie), (youngest) Arthur Aubrey Lex Maner; daughter, Desierae Mason; brother, Micheal Maner (Missy); sister, Karissa Allen; aunt, Angela Maner Foster; grandchildren, Arliss Allison, Corrina Allison, Evelynn Rose Maner, Anaiya Mason, Taylor Mason; and many nieces and nephews.
Bobby Joe Maner Jr. was a man of many talents. He loved cooking, motorcycle rides, loud music, and art. Bob was very loved by his kids and grandbabies. Everyone knew when Bob was coming around because he made sure to speak his mind (opinionated), and he was bit big headed (literally). But his big personality came with perks, like his smoked meat and delicious BBQ. Bob dabbled as a draftsman, architect, and tattoo artist. He earned a bachelor's degree from Auburn University and served in the military. Bob will be missed.
There will be a Celebration of Bob's life on Sunday, April 28, 2024, from 3:00 to 5:00 PM at Veterans Memorial Park, Pavilion 3 (near the water) in Florence, Alabama. The celebration is open to all who wish to attend.
