Brenda Ellen Blankenship, born on October 27, 1950, passed away peacefully on January 3, 2025, surrounded by the love and comfort of her family. Brenda was a beloved mother, grandmother, and aunt, whose kindness and love touched the lives of all who knew her.
Brenda’s unwavering devotion to her family was evident in everything she did. Her heart was always full of love for her children, grandchildren, and extended family. She cherished every moment spent with them and made sure they knew how deeply she cared for them.
One of the closest relationships in Brenda’s life was with her sister-in-law and best friend, Patricia Markoski. For the past five years, Patricia not only stood by her side as a cherished confidante, but also as a devoted caregiver, providing Brenda with the love and care she needed. Their bond was unbreakable, built on a foundation of love, support, and shared memories.
Brenda will be remembered for her warm spirit, generosity, and strength. She leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing her. She is survived by her children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and her beloved Patricia.
She was predeceased by her youngest son Roger Blankenship.
Brenda leaves behind to cherish her memory children Richard and Latoya Blankenship-Fairburn, GA, Ronald Blankenship-Albany, GA, and Debra and Van Edwards-Albany, GA; siblings Louise Allen-Warner Robbins, GA, William and Patty Denny-Rincon, GA, John (Randy) and Mary Denny-AR, and Mike Denny-FL; grandchildren Lance Blankenship, Emma Blankenship, Brittany Blankenship, Leslie Edwards, Eric Edwards, Hannah Blankenship, and Junior Blankenship; great grandchildren Elijah Jackson, Aaliyah Jackson, and Malachi Blankenship; and many nieces and nephews.
May Brenda's soul rest in peace, knowing she was deeply loved and will forever be in the hearts of those she leaves behind.








I am so sorry to hear of Aunt Brenda’s passing. She always made me laugh. Great lady. May she forever rest in peace. I’m sure she’s reunited with Granny & PawPaw by now. Oh, the stories they’ll have to share!

Ms.Brenda was the same everytime you seen her. She always told me she loved me and told me i was worth so much more than what I had. I believe she would be proud of me today for how far I have came. I will miss her.
