Carol Ann Marie Ekiert Bryant of Dallas, GA, formerly of Clermont, FL, passed away peacefully on January 9, 2025, in Marietta, GA. Carol Bryant was born in Pittsburgh, PA to Arthur Stanley Ekiert and Cecelia Pearl Ekiert on January 30, 1948.
Carol was a Delta Flight Attendant from 1968 - 2013. However, the job she took the greatest pride in was being mom to her four children: Paige Vitiello (Joey), Brandon Bryant (Adria), Shelly Sloan (Paul), and Heather McLain (Tom). Carol was involved in PTA and spearheaded many fall festivals and helped with events at her children’s elementary school. She was at every function whether it be talent shows, awards ceremonies, chorus concerts, school plays, or baseball games. She made life-long memories for her children by planning neighborhood ice cream parties and Christmas caroling.
She equally loved and was proud of her sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, and grandchildren. She is lovingly remembered by her 11 grandchildren: Justin, Collin, Jordan, Austin, David, Coa, Cecelia, Dominic, Daniel, Sierra, and Taylor.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Cecelia Ekiert; her brother, Richard Ekiert; her brother-in-law, John Staiger; and her former spouse, Perry Bryant. She is survived by her sisters Regina Staiger of Mooresville, NC; Donna Graham (Matt) of Clermont, FL; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of her life will be held on January 18th at Cheatham Hill Memorial Park in Marietta, with family receiving friends from 10-11am and the service beginning at 11am with interment at the same location to follow the service. The service will be officiated by Pastor Troy Hall.
Flowers can be sent to Southern Cremations and Funerals at 1861 Dallas Highway, Marietta, GA 30064 or donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Carol & I were longtime childhood friends. We did everything together. We spent many Sundays at the Citrus Tower where Art & Cel owned the giftshop. My fondest memory was Art picking me up for school every morning in that big Cadillac. Great memories of our life in old Clermont! RIP!
Prayers for all of you~With love and sympathy
Your loving sister. Donna
