Funeral services for Mr. Charles S. McCormick, age 73, of Sharpsburg, GA. Will be Saturday, August 3rd, 2024, from 1:00 2:00pm ET., for family and friends at Southern Cremations & Funerals in Fairburn, GA. Immediately following the viewing will be the burial services at Holly Hill Memorial Park in Fairburn, GA.
Mr. McCormick passed away Sunday, July 28th at his home in Sharpsburg, GA He was a native of Clay County AL. He lived most of his life in Coweta County GA.
He worked at Davison Mineral Properties in Tyrone GA for 28 years.
Mr. McCormick is survived by his son, Michael McCormick of Sharpsburg, GA., one brother, E.B. “Bo” McCormick (Delwyn) of Craigford, AL. two sisters, Delores Hill and Delilah Knopp of Ashland, AL., two stepsisters, Neil Brown and Thelma Thornton of Gadsden, AL.
Mr. McCormick was proceeded in death by his parents John Britton McCormick and Mary Lucille Vinson McCormick, two brothers, Quinton McCormick and Larry McCormick. One stepbrother, Manfred McDonald.
