Claire Savola

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Claire Savola (Tucker, Georgia), who passed away on July 21, 2022, at the age of 79, surrounded by those that loved her dearly. She was born in Winthrop, Massachusetts on July 17, 1943. Claire is survived by her two daughters Anissa (Lee) Long of Sharpsburg, GA and Dina Savola of Buford, GA; Four grandchildren, Kyra, Justin, Austin Long and Makayla Morrison. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 52 years, Pentti Savola; her parents, Lodovico and Mary (Albano) Patuzzi and her brother, Richard Patuzzi. A devoted wife, mother and grandmother, the love for her family was evident. She was a fabulous cook who enjoyed family dinners and entertaining with friends. She will be remembered with love long after her passing. As a family, a private event has been planned to honor both of their parents.
