Fairburn Southern Cremations & Funerals
Claudine Anne Marie Burrell entered the world on Thursday June 26th, 1975, and what a phenomenal day it was. Born in May Pen Clarendon, Jamaica to her parents Carrent Bartley and Patrick Burrell. At the age of nine months, she was cared for by her Grand Uncle, Norris Gordan and his wife Adlyn Gordan (Ms. Pet, whom she proudly spoke of as her grandmother) and their children. As a child growing up, Claudine became the little sister that was especially loved and cherished. She was the apple of her grandmother’s eye. Mama Pet loved her as if she were her own and helped to shape her formative years with love, moral guidance, and Christian values. From a very young age Claudine displayed the qualities of caring for others. While attending Ginger Hill All Age School, Claudine excelled in her studies and made friends very easily. Claudine would look forward to the summer holidays when she would go to May Pen to spend time with her Dad, stepmom, Ann Marie, and her siblings, Marsha and Kevin. At the age of 15, she migrated to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, to live with her dad Patrick, stepmom Rosemarie, and her siblings Perry and Chad. She attended Blanche Ely High School. Upon graduating, she enrolled in Keiser College for Nursing. Claudine had the gift of developing long-standing relationships.
