Curtis Gene Brown

Curtis Gene Brown, age 63, passed peacefully on Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at Emory University Hospital. Curtis is survived by his wife, Kim Landry Brown of Kennesaw, GA; his children, Daniel (Kacie) Boteler of Livingston, MT, Michael Boteler, and Nicole Boteler Photianos (Stephen) both of Kennesaw, GA; and his grandchildren, Irie, Mikah, Ashton, Aurora, Veronica, Maddy and John all of Kennesaw, GA; his brothers, Douglas (Mollie) Brown of Twinsburg, OH, Darrell (Dora) Brown of Kennesaw, GA and Craig (Margaret Ann) Brown of Winter Haven, FL; his brother in-laws, Neal Landry, Jr. of Carol Stream, IL and Henry (Jennifer) Landry of Wiggins, MS; and his uncles & aunt, many nieces & nephews, cousins, and many other beloved family and friends. Curtis was born on May 14, 1959 in Kokomo, IN to his late loving parents Jerry Lee Brown and Jane Colleen Johnson Brown. He graduated from Bridgewater College, VA in 1982, and received his Juris Doctorate degree from Ohio Northern University in 1985. He was a member of the bar in Pennsylvania and Georgia. Curtis was a great family man, loving father and very special grandfather. His family and friends will always remember his generosity, patience, humor, availability to help anyone in need day or night (legal or not), and his unwavering, devotional love for his grandchildren. A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, July 23rd with visitation from 2 to 3 pm followed by the service at 3 pm at Southern Cremations & Funerals at 1861 Dallas Hwy., Marietta, GA. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Curt’s life. The family would like to thank all of their wonderful family, friends and neighbors for their loving support during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in honor of Curtis to your local Ronald McDonald house
