Danny Allen Burns

Danny Allan Burns, 59, of Lawrenceville, GA, passed away on December 21, 2024. Born on October 14, 1965, in Ft. Walton Beach, Fl, Danny was known for his warmth, humor, and dedication as a family man and community coach. He attended Norcross High School and spent his career as an Automotive Service Manager from 2004 until his passing. Danny's life was marked by his deep love for his family and his community involvement. Affectionately known as "Coach Danny," he dedicated many years to coaching little league sports in Gwinnett County, shaping the lives of countless young athletes. His passions included the beach, hunting, fishing, and reveling in the great outdoors, all of which he shared with friends and family alike. Danny is survived by his son, Chase Burns; daughter, Kayleigh Burns; brother, C. Jeff Burns; sister-in-law, Janelle Shimley Burns; and nephews, Michael and Blake Burns. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Leslie Burns and Betty Jean Butler Burns. A private memorial service will be held in June at Cocoa Beach, FL, where family will gather to honor his memory. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association in Danny's memory. His legacy of love, laughter, and leadership will be cherished by all who knew him
