David A. Williamson of 304 S. Philpot St. Cedartown, GA passed away Saturday August 5, 2023 at the age of 66. He was employed at the Atlanta Journal and Constitution as a journeyman printer. After retiring from the Atlanta Journal he owned and operated several businesses of his own. His most recent entrepreneurial endeavor was his residential rental property management. His chief joys in life were family, food, and celebrating any event.He is survived by his wife Linda M. Williamson, sons Benjamin A. Spate ( Rebecca) and Richard J. Williamson. Grandchildren Christopher Spate, Tyler Hart, Ryan Spate, Abigail Spate, and Tyler Spate. Also surviving are his brothers Joseph R and Richard G. Williamson , his nephews Jason Williamson, Tyler Mineo and his great nephew Emory Mineo. His parents Richard Williamson and Angelina Ragone Williamson preceded him in death.Funeral services are to be held at Cheatham Hill Memorial Park 1861 Dallas Hwy. Marietta, GA, 30064 on Saturday August 12, 2023. Viewing will be held from 2-3pm and services between 3-5pm. Internment will be Monday August 14, 2023 at 10:30 am.In lieu of flowers please donate to St Judes Children's Hospital. .

David, I will be missed and I will never be forgotten. Thank you for being my older brother.
Although I was only around David a few times, it was enough to know that he was a good man who loved his family and friends, and that he was loved by them. He will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with his sweet wife, Linda, and rest of his family and friends.
