Deborah Taylor was born September 24, 1957, in Hurtsboro Alabama. Deborah was the oldest of her 6 siblings.Life was never easy growing up, in the late 50’s in Alabama but Geneva Sanks, Deborah’s mother, did her absolute best in raising her 6 children. Deborah had her first two children Tammy and Victor then later moved to Columbus, Ga in pursuit of happiness and a better life. Shortley after moving to Columbus, GA Deborah relocated to Atlanta, GA. In Atlanta, Deborah met her husband Oscar Taylor Sr in 1983 and married in October of 1986, from this union Oscar Taylor III was born. Deborah achieved several accomplishments, such as becoming a dedicated nurse, a homeowner but her most honorable accomplishment were being a devout Christian, a loving wife, a proud mother, grandmother, and aunt. Deborah loved to spend time reading a good book, eating good collard greens, listening to old school R&B, thrifting and spending quality time with family. Anytime Deborah could chat with her sister Nettie, laughing and occasionally in solitude was considered a blessing. Deborah was an intellectual woman filled with wit, wisdom, and phenomenal listening skills. Deborah is preceded in death by her mother Geneva Sanks and her brothers, Frank, and David Sanks. Deborah leaves to cherish her memories, her husband Oscar Taylor Sr., children Tammy L Cedon, Victor R. Sanks and Oscar Taylor III, her sibling Gery Sanks, Donald Sanks and Tracy Sank, grandchildren, Tia U. Celdon, Cedric V. Celdon II and Estrella Sanks along with a host of nieces nephews and family and friends.
