Delores Jean Allen August 20, 1952 - October 22, 2023 Delores Jean Allen went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at the age of 71 in Newnan, Georgia on October 22, 2023, surrounded by her children. Jean was born in West Virginia on August 20, 1952, but grew up in New Castle, Pennsylvania. She attended New Castle High School and eventually moved to West Palm Beach, Florida to raise her family. Later in life she decided to live near her son Michael in Newnan, Georgia. Jean worked in healthcare, security and owned her own cleaning business while living in Florida. Her hobbies included reading, crocheting, baking, bird watching and playing games. She had a big heart and loved to help people in need. Her kids had a running joke about her milk “addiction”, but it was all in good fun. She loved to laugh and always greeted people with a big smile. Being at the beach or mountains was always a preferred getaway but the one thing she loved more than anything was spending time with her family no matter the location. She will be missed. Predeceased by Delbert Edmund and Cecelia Etta Walters Allen. Lovingly remembered by her four children and siblings:Children: Son, Eddie Stevens, wife Debra and their children Alana and Christian.Son, David Stevens, wife Nadine and their children David and Lilly.Daughter, Michelle Bryant and her children Bryant and Deanna Lewis. Seth and Madison Bryant, Deaven Coleman and her daughter Jennifer Coleman. Son, Michael Stevens, wife Brandy and their children, Kiley Stevens and Tyler Mckoon and his fiancé Lexi Schofield and their daughter Lydia Mckoon. Siblings: Delbert Allen Jr. (Ed), Chuck Allen, Joe Allen, Kenneth Allen, Roger Allen, Mary Hedglin, Iris Grandey (Deceased), Sue Frasier (Deceased) *A celebration of her life will be planned at a later date for immediate family.
