Donald Leroy Allen

Donald Allen passed away peacefully at home on June 9 2023.He went to be with his Lord at the age of 81 years. Donald was born in Omaha, Nebraska on October 31, 1942. He is predeceased by his parents and his sister. Donald is survived by his wife, Sharen of 61 years. He is lovingly remembered by 3 sons. Richard Allen, David Allen and wife Gayle, and Bryan Allen and wife Brandy. He has one daughter Kimm Tattershall and her husband Ronnie. He left behind 14 grandkids and 14 great-grandkids, nieces, nephews and a church family that loved him so much. Donald retired from Cobb County Maintenance Department after 18 years of service. He was diagnosed with Alzheimer's 16 years ago. He handled this disease with grace and dignity. Please in lieu of flowers consider contributing to Alzheimer's research. Donalds' home going celebration will be at home on June 17, 2023, at 2:00 pm.
