In loving memory….Douglas “Ray” Middleton of Newnan, Georgia lost his hard fought battle with cancer Tuesday,November 14, 2023. Ray was a loving man that valued hard work, his family, and closefriendships. He could be found tinkering around fixing things regularly or rocking in his chair onthe front porch. He had a passion for woodworking and carpentry and he especially enjoyedlistening to music and playing his guitars. Ray was a man with a beaming sense of humor wholoved to make goofy comments, and when you needed it most he would make you laugh andbring joy to your life.He was preceded in death by his father Dale Middleton; grandparents Chester and IrineDouglasRay leaves to cherish his memories with his beloved wife of 29 years, Denise; son Michael(Fallon) Douglas Middleton; son Alan (Morgan) Ray Middleton; daughter Stephanie (Barry Jr.)Bennett; stepson David Scott Thompson; stepson Clinton (Janelle) Robert Thompson; bonusdaughter Davin Thompson; grandchildren Mikaela Hughes, Charlie Middleton, Trevor Middleton,Camron Bennett; bonus grandchildren Emma and Travis Inguanta; and great grandson on theway Waylon Middleton; Mother Rebecca Zimpher; sister Pam (Chris) Ernst, sister Kendall“Kaye” (Glen) Baker; a host of aunts, uncles, and other relatives; and many friends.
