Elizabeth “Beti” Kelco, of Roswell, Georgia, went into the loving arms of our Savior on Sunday, November 9, 2025, at the age of 83.
A Beautiful Life
Beti was born on September 30, 1942, in Manhattan, New York. Her early life was spent in the Garden State, growing up in Metuchen and Iselin, New Jersey, before later moving to Honolulu, Hawaii, where she and her husband, Robert Kelco, lived with their son, Christopher. After her husband’s retirement from the Marines, she then moved back to NJ, living for many years in Metuchen before establishing her home in Roswell, Georgia.
As a child, Beti displayed an early talent and zest for life, which led her to become the lead actress and singer in an off-Broadway production of South Pacific. She brought joy to many viewers with her cheerful disposition on the set of Ted Macks Amateur Hour in her late teens. And later on in politics and Owner/Founder of Robbins Travel Agency. Beti’s life was defined by her deep commitment to God, her family, friends, and her loving pet, Faith. She always knew how to make people laugh and made friends everywhere she went, including the staff at all her favorite restaurants. Her greatest joy was her faith in Jesus, family and friends - and she leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and devotion. She cherished her loving community in Roswell, Georgia, and particularly treasured her dear friends Susan, Janie and Donna.
Family
Beti is predeceased by her beloved husband, Robert Kelco, and her loving son, Christopher Kelco. She also joins her parents, Elizabeth and Robert Robbins, in eternal rest.
She is survived by her loving nieces: Connie Haiko Nielsen, Sandi Tagg, her beloved Brother-in-law Joseph Kelco, and his daughters and loving nieces Deborah Sierchio, and Lori Tirone, all residing in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. She will be dearly missed by her extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to be made to St. Anns Roman Catholic Church in Marietta Georgia as a tribute to generous nature.
Southern Cremations & Funerals at Cheatham Hill Memorial Park is honored to serve the Kelco family in their time of bereavement.
