Elizabeth Lowery Dalton

Elizabeth Lowery Dalton of Villa Rica, Georgia, passed away peacefully at her daughter’s home on Thursday, February 8, 2024, at the age of 83. Elizabeth was born on February 12, 1940, in Chattanooga, Tennessee. She graduated from Rossville High School in 1958. She began her career with Southern Bell and retired from BellSouth as a Network Technician. After retirement, she continued working for BellSouth as a consultant and this allowed her to travel the US extensively. Elizabeth loved her family fiercely and was a Mama Bear through and through. She also loved shopping, gardening, and travel. Elizabeth is predeceased by her father, Cicero Lowery; her mother, Rubye Lowery; her infant brother, David Lowery; her brother, Fred Lowery; her sister, Sue Brock; and her husband, Guy Dalton. Elizabeth is survived by her daughter, Amy Woods (Doug); son, Darren Welch (Kim); grandchildren, Landon Woods (Katie), Patrick Woods, Jacob Welch (Emily), Taylor Welch, and Morgan Welch; great grandchildren, Logan Woods and Luca Woods; and her sisters, Pam Stacks (Gary) and Cheryl Lowery. She is also lovingly remembered by her special friend, Joe Faires. Visitation will be held on February 14th from 10:00 to 12:00 at Cheatham Hill Memorial Park with burial immediately following.
