In Loving Memory of Emilia (Nimer) ChudzikMay 28, 1944 – November 28, 2024 Emilia (Nimer) Chudzik, 80, of Jonesboro, Georgia, passed away on November 28, 2024. Born on May 28, 1944, in Havana, Cuba, to Caridad and Rateb Nimer. She was the youngest of three daughters, joining her sisters Estrella Curran and Margot Mustafa in a loving family. Emilia immigrated to this country over 60 years ago and lived a life marked by strength, love, and dedication to her family, friends and career. She was a fighter until the very end, facing every challenge with grace and resilience. Emilia was surrounded by the love of her family in her final moments. She later joined Kiwi Airlines and retired from Delta Airlines after a distinguished 15-year career. Emilia's professionalism, kindness, and warm spirit left a lasting impact on her colleagues and all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Emilia’s love, light, and happiness will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed, but her memory will live on through the love she instilled in her family and all who had the honor of knowing her.May her memory be a blessing and a source of comfort to all who had the privilege of knowing her.May she rest in eternal paradise. 1. She was the most beautiful and amazing woman. I spent many weekends sleeping over her house when I was a child. Alysia is my first childhood best friend. I moved when I was 8 to Puerto Rico and a few years ago reconnected with her and Frankie on Facebook. I will always treasure her kindness towards my family and I. May she rest in paradise.

  4. Oh Amy I was so saddened to hear of your passing. I waited a few days to process your loss and remember all the beautiful memories you have instilled in me. You were a friend to my mom, but also a mom to me. So many core memories were made with you and your family back in the Hillside era that have stayed with me to today, and I’m a better human being for it. You cleaned up my scraped knees (I was such a clumsy kid), fed me even when I was picky, held me when my emotions got overwhelming. To say thank you isn’t enough to say how much I appreciated your love and warmth. My condolences to your family and friends, you were cherished here on earth and will continue to be cherished in memory. I love you so much❤️

  75. Roger and I were so very sorry to hear of Emilia’s passing. We have so many fond memories of neighbor gatherings on Looker St. when we lived in Hillside, the family wedding in GA and Frank’s Surprise birthday party.
She was a great cook and loved her children, grandkid, family and friends!

It was a honor to know her. 🕊💜🕊May She Rest in Peace💜🕊💜

Pictured are bowls She found at a yard sale..the colors of our newly renovated kitchen. We love these bowls, use them weekly and always think of Amy.

The group shot was Roger’s Surprise 50th Birthday in Hillside. Just one of the many fun times with family and friends.

  78. My heart is heavy with the loss of dear Emilia. She was a remarkable woman who touched so many lives with her warmth and kindness. As a loving wife and devoted mother, she showed us what true family dedication looks like. Her friendship was a precious gift to all who knew her, and as an aunt, she brought joy and wisdom to her extended family. My deepest sympathies to the family during this difficult time. May her memory be a blessing.

  79. I will always remember driving over the bridge to Titi’s house in Jersey, having the best family parties. Then driving across country to Titi’s house in Georgia! Having the best family adventure, vacation together. We love you always and forever Malita.. Emilia.. Titi <3
