Emma Jean Luckey was born on July 28th, 1938 in Marion AL. to the late Bertha Mae Edwards and Robert Kynard. Emma Jean was called home on July 12th, 2025. Emma Jean was employed with General Motors for over 25 years where she retired. Emma enjoyed bowling and cooking for her loved ones. She’s most known for her homemade desserts. She also loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was proceeded in death by her parents Bertha Mae Edwards of Marion, Al and Robert Kynard of Toledo, Oh. Her son, Jeffery A. Edwards of Selma, Al. Her son-in-law, Gerald L. McGhee of Toledo, Oh. Her sister, Annie Lou Howard of Marion, Al. Her brothers, Glen Edwards of Toledo, Oh. Nathan (Lucy) Edwards of Marion, Al. and Jefferson Edwards Sr. of Toledo, Ohio. She leaves to cherish her loving memory her children, Phyllis Edwards-McGhee of Newnan, GA, Anthony (Bonita) Edwards Sr. of Toledo, OH, and Ayne Luckey of Newnan, GA; Her brothers, Richard (Georgia) Edwards and Elbert Edwards of Toledo, OH. Her sister Pauline Hackworth of Toledo, OH. Sister-in-laws, Gertrude Edwards of Birmingham, AL. and Ella Edwards of Toledo, OH. Special granddaughters Marquise Edwards, Rayven Edwards-McGhee, and Angel Luckey. A host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
