Emmanuel Chimaife Okoli Jacobs

Bishop Dr. Emmanuel Chimaife Okoli Jacobs passed away on Thursday Aug 26, 2021. At the Grady Hospital in Atlanta, Ga. He was born on the 10th of October 1947 in Izu- Akule, Abia state, Nigeria. He was born to the family of Elder Jacobs and Mrs. Margret Okoli from Iru Owele, Igbo Ukwu in Agwu-ata, Anambra state, Nigeria. He was the third child of his parents and grew up with his four brothers and two sisters. He attended his primary education in Nigeria before he joined the Biafra Army to fight against the Nigerian army during the Nigerian civil war from 1958-1971. He gave his life to the Lord at the age of eight (8) in Assemblies of God Church. He is Survived by his wife Rev Dr. Mrs. Agnes A. Okoli, His children; Ugochukwu, Justice, Miracle, Lois, Elton, two brothers; Mr. Steven, Bishop Dennis, three sisters-in law and many cousins, nephews, nieces. He was a devoted father to his kids, a loving husband to his wife, a caring brother and son to his extended family and an avid preacher of the gospel of Christ. He attended one of the best bible universities in Nigeria at that time. After he completed his degree, he traveled out to the US to further his studies where he got his doctorate and PhD in Divinity. He returned to Nigeria after his studies and spent his years in the ministry; training, raising sons and daughters and pastoring ministries. He lived his life as a Missionary after many years of devotion to the home church. In 2003, he aired his first Tv outreach program. Reaching and connecting to millions of viewers all over the world. Family and friends whose lives he touched tremendously are invited to a funeral service to hold on 30th Oct 2021 at 1:00 at Cheatham Hill Memorial Park.
