Ernest Latty

Ernest LattySeptember 26, 1954 - December 30, 2024 It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Mr. Ernest Latty on December 30, 2024, at 11:25 AM. Born on September 26, 1954, in New York, Ernest is now at peace with his Lord. He was a beloved father and friend. Ernest was preceded in death by his father, Ernest B. Latty, mother, Regina Latty, sister, Mari Latty, and brothers, Mark Latty and Dominic Latty. He is lovingly remembered by his daughter, Lea Welch (Stephen), and grandchildren, Keona Jones, Jordan Litte, and Isabella Welch. He is also survived by his siblings Valerie Latty, Carla Latty, Gregory Latty, Jo-Ann Latty, Beth Latty, and Chris Latty, as well as his nieces and nephews, Paule Webster, Ashleigh Brown, Dominic Reese, Ahmad Latty, Zyaire Latty, Ajahn Huggins, Taj Huggins, and Ari Latty. Ernest enjoyed deep sea fishing and sailing, passions that brought him great joy and peace. His legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. A gathering of friends and family will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at Southern Cremations & Funerals at Cheatham Hill in Marietta, Georgia, from 2-5 PM.
