Frances was a loving but determined child. She was an excellent student and achieved her high school diploma from Burke High School in Charleston, SC. Frances went on to pursue a career in the medical field, serving as a nursing assistant for over 30 years in various capacities. Frances was a church going lady. She was a faithful member of St. John Reformed Episcopal Church in Charleston, SC. However, during a revival conducted in Charleston, SC, she received and accepted the Seventh-day Adventist message and became a baptized member of the Shiloh Seventh-day Adventist Church in Charleston, SC. While at Shiloh, Frances served faithfully as a bible worker, usher, women’s ministry, and choir member (Franny sure loved music and a little dancing!). Frances was a dutiful mother, not only to her own children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, whom she loved dearly, but a mother to so many in her community. Frances had an open and loving heart, and would do what she could to help others. Frances was not to be trifled with. If Frances said it, she meant it! Frances served her God and Lord Jesus devotedly. Frances is now looking forward to hearing her Master say on that great gettin’ up mornin’ Well done, well done, well done, my good and faithful servant! Frances’ desire is for her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family members, friends, and all others, to know and serve the best thing that ever happened to her, Jesus the Lord Eternal.
