Frances Maria Williams

July 5, 1934 ~ August 2, 2022

Frances Maria Williams passed away peacefully at home on August 2, 2022, at the age of 88 years old. She was a wonderful mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, and friend. She was the youngest of five children and spent a happy childhood growing up on the beach in Jamaica. Her sister Adina who preceded her by two years was her best friend. She is survived by her children Jacqueline, Carlene, David, Regina, grandchildren; Carrė, Caleb, Grace, Laurelle, many nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and loved ones. Frances loved the sea and became her family's expert on different types of fish. She loved the color pink, gardening, nature, painting, history and was enthusiastic about sewing. Sewing became her career and a skill she taught her four children. As a faithful Christian, she talked about the goodness of God with people she met. She loved reading the Bible and was a member of a church choir in your younger years. For the many lives she impacted, she leaves behind lasting memories of her caring nature, warmth, wisdom, sense of humor and love for God. We celebrate her wonderful life at Cheatham Hill Memorial Park, 1861 Dallas Highway, Marietta Georgia on Thursday 8/18/2022, at 10:00 am.

Guestbook

  1. Mrs. Williams you have always been a woman who lived and displayed Godly principles. You and Regina introduced me to Glad Tidings Church. You always always have a a kind word to give..I am HONORED to have known you. I call You MAMA because you are that to me…I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU, TO INFINITY AND BEYOND….Georgiana

  2. Mrs Williams was kind , always pleasant and displayed genuine love and compassion towards me and family. I pray the Lord will comfort her family and friends in this season of bereavement.

  3. I can’t believe you are gone but I know without a doubt that you are with the Lord. Sleep in peace mama 💜

  4. Mrs. Williams was a beautiful woman of God. She was instrumental in my life as a child. Now that I am grown I am so thankfully that I met her and her children. I pray that the Lord will pour out his blessing on her children, grandchildren and great-grand children. May your soul rest in peace Mrs . Williams.

  5. Wishing you peace to bring comfort, courage to face the days ahead and loving memories to forever hold in your hearts. Take care.

  6. Sister Williams, as we affectionately referred to Mrs. Williams, was a wonderful and beautiful Christian lady. We, the March Pen Road Boys, as some people referred to us, would walked our friends home after church, including Jackie and her siblings and sister Williams would always greeted us with a big smile. A smile of gratitude and appreciation for making sure her children got home safely. On holidays, such as Christmas and New Years, she would invite us into her home for cake and sorrel. There are so many wonderful memories that I don’t even know where to start or where to stop. One thing I want to say though and that is, ‘rest in peace, my sister’ and I hope to see you again in glory. To Jackie and her siblings, families and relatives, God bless you, stay strong in the Lord and I am praying for you! Eric Cunningham

  7. I celebrate her genuine care person and her meek and gracious personality underpinned by her soft-spoken voice. The fact that one was always treated with value, dignity, love, and the grace of God. Rest well my sister “Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints ” Ps 116: 15. “As for me, I will see Your face in righteousness; I shall be satisfied when I awake in Your likeness”. Ps 17:15
