Frank Tomlin

March 16, 1938 ~ January 8, 2024

Herschel Frank Tomlin passed away on Monday, January 8, 2024. Frank was a native Atlantean and lived in Dallas, Georgia. He graduated from O’Keefe High School in 1955 and attended Georgia Tech. He was retired from Peachtree Window and Door Company and had worked in the home building and real estate business most of his adult life. Frank loved golf and was a member of the Paulding County Senior Golf Club for many years. Frank was very devoted to his family. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Sandra (Cannon) Tomlin; his daughter, Edie Golden and her husband, Robert; his son, Herschel Ford Tomlin (Chip); granddaughter, Haley Golden; grandson, Tanner Golden; sister, Kathee Tomlin of Cleveland, GA; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive visitors at Southern Cremations and Funerals at Cheatham Hill on Saturday, January 13, 2024, from 10 am – 12 pm in the funeral home chapel. Frank’s family will be taking his ashes to his favorite location in Florida at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made in Frank’s honor to Wounded Warrior Project, Tunnel to Towers Foundation, Lewy Body Dementia Association of Georgia, and the Lung Cancer Society.
