Marietta Southern Funerals & Cremations
Fred Wright III was born January 24, 1955 in Fort Campbell, Kentucky to Helen and Fred Wright Jr. Fred was a soldier's child. Throughout his school years, Fred attended several schools around the world and graduated in Marietta, Ga. Fred is preceded in death by his Mother and Father Fred and Helen Wright, One brother Orric Thomas, One sister Myra Wright and several other loved ones will greet him at Heaven's door.
Fred gave his life to Christ as a child and was reborn again in 1997.
Fred loved people and was always "the life of the party" and never met a stranger. Fred worked many years at Buckeye Vacuum in Marietta, GA. He also worked for Savannah-Chatham County School District while living in Savannah, GA. Enemy was not in his vocabulary as he lit up every room he entered. Fred and his sister Deborah were "two peas in a pod" along with his other sister Sheila.
Fred was known for his smiling face as it always captivated others and they could only smile in return.
In addition to this smiling face and kind heart, Fred was also known for his catchy quotes such as "Oh! Delusions of Grandeur" when someone was doing the unthinkable. He would also say "Oh why be around someone and feel like you ate greasy pork when you leave" These were just a few of his sayings but we have all heard many others used in his presence.
Fred leaves to cherish his memory 1 son: Marlon Wright, 2 grandchildren: Marlon Wright Jr and Marlanda Wright, 5 great grandchildren, 3 sisters: Sheila, Deborah, and Wanda Wright, 4 brothers Anthony Wright, Alan Wright (Taneaka), Lyndon Wright (Angie), and Otis Morgan. He also leaves a host of family & friends.

Fred was my second oldest brother, I will dearly miss him, and will forever hold every moment I spent with him. He was one of the kindest person I know. When I left him I always hugged him and told him goodbye, because you never know do you. 😢 Fred I won’t say goodbye, I’ll just say I’ll see you later.❤️
As you mourn the loss of your beloved brother Fred Wright, please accept my deepest sympathy and well wishes.
I hope beautiful memories soften your grief and the support you receive from family and friends give you hope through this journey of mourning and healing.
Peace and Blessings.
Vonette Wright
Honored to have the Wright Family in our lives with a long history. Freddie and the Wright Family were always part of our extended family, sharing their love unselfishly. Freddie brought laughter and joy and will be missed sorely by the Thomas family. RIP Uncle Freddie
Mama is already on the floor laughing at something he said
Uncle Freddie was such a fun, spirited man! He lived life to the fullest, and he use to always say “I am living like a rockstar”. Your “rockstar” spirit will live with me forever Uncle Freddie.
Love,
Your niece, Dr. DeShanna K. Brown (Sheila Wright’s daughter)
You will always be remembered as the favorite uncle who make the best margaritas… Uncle Freddie you will be missed..Your spirit will live on.
