McDonough Southern Funerals & Cremations
Gabriella Mae Martin passed away Sunday June 25, 2023 at the young age of 18. "Gabby" as she was affectionately called was born in Riverdale, GA on April 24, 2005. Her life was far from easy and yet somehow she found love and had just graduated from high school. She was just as bold as she was beautiful. We are beyond proud of her for beating the odds! Every day Gabby inspired us and she still does to this day. Gabby would smile if she were here with us today. She would have so many funny stories to tell, silly faces to make and so many songs to sing to make everyone feel comfortable, and we would for a moment forget about our sadness. Gabby's passing was sudden, but her life was not faint. Her memory will always be with us, and her legacy will continue through her siblings and family members. We will miss her dearly but will honor her by remembering the good times we all had together.
Gabby is proceeded in death by her grandfather Willie Miles; She leaves to cherish her beautiful memory her mother; Maegan Miles of McDonough, GA; father; Roberto Gonzalez of Hampton, GA; sisters; Destiny Jenkins (Jacob Jenkins) and their 2 children Oliver and Loralye Jenkins of Crawfordsville, Indiana, and Addison Martin of McDonough, GA; brothers; Tristan Gonzalez, Noah Miles, Quinten Miles Jr., and Preston Miles all from McDonough, GA. Grandmother Peggy Miles of Richmond, VA; aunts, Leigh Jackson of Richmond, VA , and Jennifer Miles Thomas (Ivan Thomas) of Williamsburg, VA; her boyfriend Kawaunish (Kwan) Grubbs of Atlanta, GA and several cousins.
There will be a private service at later date for close family and friends

I loved my Gabby! She was one of my many children at Hampton Elementary School. But she held a very special place in my heart! Her spunk and determination remains bright in my memories. Her mother, Meghan volunteered in our room very often. Gabby loved it when her mama was there! They had a special bond.
She use to sing when she got bored! Her beautiful voice was obvious even in 1st grade. Such an awesome singer!
I will say “see you later precious girl!” You keep heaven on its toes until I join you! Love you dearly our angel!💕
That was always the bright spot of my week coming in and spending the day with her.
Gabby I will forever miss hearing the words I love you too mama. Your smile can light up a room and there wasn’t anyone who met you that wasn’t touched. Until we meet again. I love you with all my heart baby girl!

One of my favorite memories with Gabby would have to be when we were at uncle Allen’s and addy and gabby were dancing around the fire together singing and laughing and we all got to hangout and just enjoy our time together- with love kaylie
Luckily I snapped a picture of Gabby and my brother, her cousin Landon
I had the pleasure of being able to know Gabby for a short while at EXCEL Academy. She was so bright, so kind, and so talented! She would sometimes just hang out in the classroom with me and sing karaoke when we had nothing to do (she had the voice of an angel.. I was shocked when I first heard her sing). We had many talks about life, struggles, and the future. My heart is broken that she is no longer here with us, but I hope and pray to see her beautiful smile again one day. It was an honor to be her teacher and to be able to get to know her. Rest in peace, sweet girl.
My condolences to all of her family and friends. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
