Gail Ferguson

December 11, 1957 ~ October 5, 2023

Gail Ferguson was born on December 11, 1957, in Manchester, GA to the late Bishop and Mildred Ferguson. She was the fourth of five children. She graduated from Manchester High School in 1976 and later moved to Atlanta, GA where she worked as a Word Processor for the accounting Firms of KPMG and Price Waterhouse. On June 8, 1973, Gail dedicated herself to God, Jehovah, and became one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She loved studying Bible prophecies and sharing her faith with all she met. Her love of sharing Bible truth moved here to begin serving as a regular pioneer in September of 2012.All who knew Gail knew without a doubt her proudest achievement was the birth of son Adetokunbo and her daughter Desiree. She had a witty and animated sense of humor. She loved dance, fitness, spades, cooking her famous Banana Pudding, and her high heels! Gail also had an ear for music, being known to have played the piano, and sung beautifully. Most importantly, Gail loved her God Jehovah and his people. She was quick to share a comforting word from the Bible and knew just what to say to brighten anyone’s day. One of her favorite scriptures to share was Philippians 4: 6,7.Gail is survived by her daughter Desiree Dorsey (Atlanta); son Adetokunbo Martins (Atlanta); and sisters June Ferguson (Atlanta) and Grace Crawl (Atlanta). One brother and sister preceded her in death, Carlson Ferguson and Lurlene Johnson. She also leaves behind seven nieces (Becky, Elaine, Sandra, Shay, Yolanda, Wyuanna, and Petrea); three nephews (Adrain, Navotney, and Arelious); two grandnieces; and three nephews. She will be missed dearly by a host of family and friends.

  1. Family, as you know, the Bible speaks of death as a enemy(1 Corinthians 15:26). It robs us of the company of our dear loved ones. Jehovah promises us, in just a little while we will be able to see and enjoy her smiling face again. My condolences. Debby

  2. My thoughts and prayers are with Desiree and the family. I will miss Gail
