Gerardo Gutiérrez, nacido el 15 de julio de 1962 en Jalisco, México, falleció en su casa el 31 de octubre de 2024, después de una valiente batalla contra el cáncer. Gerardo era el amado hijo de los fallecidos SanJuana Martínez y Enrique Gutiérrez Cruz. Se casó con Cecilia Serna el 29 de septiembre de 2018 y juntos construyeron una vida centrada en el amor y la familia. Trabajó como operador en TOTO durante 25 años, dedicándose a mantener a sus seres queridos. A Gerardo le gustaba pescar, ver combates de box y partidos de fútbol y cocinar comidas para reuniones familiares. Su mayor alegría era pasar tiempo con la familia, apreciando cada momento con sus hijos y nietos. Le sobreviven su esposa, Cecilia Serna; sus hijas Nancy, María, Claudia, Jasmin, Andrea y Lizbeth (AJ); su hijo Gerardo Jr.; y muchos hermanos, hermanas y amigos. Le precedieron en la muerte sus padres, dos hermanos y una hermana. Gerardo era un hijo, hermano, esposo, padre, abuelo y amigo devoto. Su amor por su familia, su sólida ética de trabajo y su carácter solidario serán profundamente extrañados por todos los que lo conocieron. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Gerardo Gutierrez, born on July 15, 1962, in Jalisco, Mexico, passed away at home on October 31, 2024, after a brave battle with cancer. Gerardo was the beloved son of the late SanJuana Martinez and Enrique Gutierrez Cruz. He married Cecilia Serna on September 29, 2018, and together they built a life centered around love and family. He worked as an operator at TOTO for 25 years, dedicating himself to providing for his loved ones. Gerardo enjoyed fishing, watching boxing matches and soccer games, and cooking meals for family gatherings. His greatest joy was spending time with family, cherishing every moment with his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Cecilia Serna; daughters Nancy, Maria, Claudia, Jasmin, Andrea, and Lizbeth (AJ); son Gerardo Jr.; and many brothers, sisters, and friends. He is predeceased by his parents, two brothers, and one sister. Gerardo was a devoted son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, and friend. His love for his family, strong work ethic, and caring nature will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
