Gregory D. Fletcher

April 11, 1972 ~ October 27, 2021

Gregory D. Fletcher was born in Denver, CO on April 11, 1972 to Otha Fletcher and Sheila Marie Ford-Singh. He peacefully made his transition into his Heavenly Paradise on Wednesday, October 27, 2021. At an early age he gave his life to Christ at East Denver Church of Christ in Denver, CO Gregory was a graduate of Manual High School in Denver, CO in 1990. He ran track and played on the 1990 championship basketball team. Gregory was small in stature but made up for his lack of height by the size of his heart. He had a quiet, mild and meek personality. Gregory was always making friends in whatever room he stepped into. He started his career at Toys-R-Us in Denver, Co and he was relocated to Atlanta, Ga. He advanced to employment at Zep Mfg as a team lead and was promoted to Manager. He was currently employed by Courier Express as the Operations supervisor. He was always willing to help anyone with anything asked or unasked of him. He was an amazing father to his children FonShae Cross, JaiShaun Cross and Gregory Fletcher Jr. We’ve enjoyed many family vacations; Gregory loved the water so our destinations were always a waterfront location somewhere. He was a die heart Dallas Cowboy fan win or lose you could say nothing bad about his Dallas Cowboys. He enjoyed his Sunday chats with his Daughter, FonShae Cross as they went over the football games and sheets Gregory Fletcher was preceded in death by his father, Otha Fletcher and his mother Sheila Marie Ford-Singh. The testimony of his life will continue to be a blessing through his loved ones; daughter FonShae R. Cross and his sons JaiShaun D. Cross and Gregory D. Fletcher Jr., his brother Tony Lee Singh and nephew Tony Lee Singh Jr He also leaves to cherish his special memories a host of relatives and friends.

  11. Hello Family! I grew up directly behind Gregory’s father, Otha Fletcher and his brothers. His youngest brother Gregory was my best friend. It appears that Otha named his son after his brother. Please accept my sincere sympathy for your loss. I’m saddened even though I never knew him. His Dad and Uncles were like brothers to me. Their Mother Bea was a very beautiful and sweet woman. I saw this because I was thinking of Greg, and was checking to see exactly when his born date and death date are. I have his obituary at home, but strangely it was something that I couldn’t wait on. Sincerely, Jeffery D. Taylor Jackson, Mississippi 601-966-0911
