On December 21, 2021 Hilda "LeGay" Saul age 86 from Fayetteville, Georgia departed from this earth. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband James Bronson Saul and her grandson Jacob Faulkner. She is survived by her 4 daughters Kim Saul, Kelley Faulkner, Kathy McCormick, and Karin Saul Ellis and grandchildren Kachelle McCormick, Kurt Thompson, Kodi Thompson, James McCormick, Kelyn Faulkner, Jeffry Ellis, and Joshua Faulkner as well as 7 great grandchildren. She also has two surviving siblings Ronald "Buddy" Tallman and Martha Ellis.
Mrs. Saul started the first girls softball organization in Fayette County in 1970, She also owned a local antique shop and pet store. LeGay was well known for her letters to the editor in the local newspaper the Fayette Citizen, She was a strong woman with a soft caring side as well. She will be missed.
In the near future a memorial service will be held at Ebenezer United Methodist church in Fayetteville Georgia ,where she has been a member since 1964.

Unfortunately I wasn’t invited to my own Mother’s funeral but I miss her very much and loved her.She enjoyed making small pieces of furniture and Antiques and was a wonderful singer so talented in many ways.
