Hugh Wayne Jones

Hugh Wayne Jones, 73, of Dallas, Georgia, passed away on March 3, 2023. Wayne is survived by his wife, Sabrina Jones, children, Jason Jones (Amy Scott) and Sarah Friedrich (Cody), brother, Robert Jones, and other friends and family. He is preceded in death by his mother, Gladys Jones. Wayne was born in Atlanta, Georgia on January 1, 1950. After graduating from North Miami Senior High in 1969, Wayne worked as an IT specialist at AT&T and IBM for over 40 years. Wayne married Sabrina Young Jones on December 16, 1991; they have been married for 31 years. Wayne was a loving husband, devoted father, and a man of many interests including cooking, crafts, and Facebook commentary. The memorial service will be held at 2:00pm on Friday March 17, 2023 at Cheatham Hill’s Columbarium Chapel. Visitation will be held following the service, from approximately 2:30pm to 5:00pm on Friday March 17, 2023, at Cheatham Hill’s Columbarium Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
