Isolyn Hall

April 30, 1921 ~ September 20, 2025

Isolyn (Mama) Hall was born on April 30, 1921, in the district of Broadleaf, Manchester, Jamaica, West Indies. She was educated in Manchester. Isolyn later relocated to Kingston in her early 20s, where she continued to pursue her career as a seamstress, which was her passion. In 1946, Isolyn met Hubert, whom she later married (now deceased). Their union was blessed with seven children: two daughters and five sons. Isolyn always enjoyed traveling and entertaining family and friends. Family was always her first love. She migrated to the USA in 1982 and, upon arrival, was introduced to other members of the family previously unknown to her. She later gained employment in the medical field and worked until retirement. After retiring, she spent most of her time with her grandchildren, whom she truly enjoyed. Isolyn (Mama) transitioned on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at the golden age of 104. She was predeceased by her husband Hubert and sons Rupert and Trevor Corrodus. Isolyn is lovingly remembered by her daughters Daphne and Lorna; sons Hubert Jr., Carlton, and George Corrodus; nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and other relatives. She is a beloved mother who is mourned by all her children, relatives, and friends. She will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by all.
