It is with deep sorrow and much love that we announce the sudden passing of Mr. Jason Matthew Rogucki, who went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at the age of 54.
Born on July 27, 1970, in Rahway, New Jersey, Jason spent his formative years in the Garden State. He graduated from Roselle Park High School in 1989 and went on to earn his Associate’s degree from Middlesex County College. He later pursued his passion for art, earning a BFA in Graphic Design and Illustration from duCret School of Art in 1995, followed by an MFA from Montclair University.
Jason was a true jack of all trades—an illustrator, sign maker, package designer, photo retoucher, and even a security guard. His professional journey included work with notable companies such as Pfizer and Hartz Mountain. He was also the proud owner of R-Hideaway Studios, where his creativity and entrepreneurial spirit flourished.
In 2015, Jason moved with his beloved wife and sons to Georgia, where he continued to share his talents and zest for life. He had a deep love for Star Wars, Van Halen, and music of all kinds. Known for his great sense of humor and vibrant personality, Jason brought joy and laughter to all who knew him.
Jason is lovingly remembered by his wife of 26 years, Cheryl Fedyna-Rogucki; his cherished sons, Sebastian and Nathaniel; and his devoted mother, Susan Meyer. He is predeceased by his father, Frank Rogucki; grandmother, Ruth Suddarth; and grandfather, Thomas Suddarth.
He will be deeply missed by his extended family, including the Madjeski's, Munning, Stedmire and Doherty families of New Jersey; his best friend, Glen Thygesen of California; and by countless co-workers, high school and art school friends, and neighbors whose lives he touched.
Jason’s legacy is one of creativity, kindness, and unwavering love for his family and friends. He will be forever missed and always remembered.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the GoFundMe for his wife & children.

Rest in Peace my Son. Memory New Years 2020
So many good memories
Oh brother my brother. I’ve had so much time to find the words for this and the last few months I just haven’t had those words. Coupled with the fact I still don’t accept this, well…
40+ years. Through the good, the bad and the oh so ugly. First dates, science projects, me getting punched in the crotch, lifted off the ground and sent to the doctor (guess I won’t have a chance to return that favor). Middle school to middle age. I’ve loved you, hated you and a lot of the time, just not known what to do with you. From weddings to funerals, loss of parents and grandparents to the joy of children.
How am I supposed to go on with half myself gone. Even when we weren’t speaking, which was a lot of the last few years, I always knew you were there. Even now, I feel like you’re still out there and have to remind myself you’re not. And of course, while I did it occasionally before, the last few months I’ve been calling my son Jacob, Jason. Mostly because he has your temper.
I miss you man.
And because I can’t let the situation go without doing it. “Of my friend, I can only say this: of all the souls I have encountered in my travels, his was the most… human.” Been saving that one for 30 years, and you had to make me go and use it didn’t you. I love you, brother.
