  1. Jayne was one of the smartest women I’ve ever known. I had the privilege of working with her in Mountain Home and was so happy to have her as my friend! She was able to find humor even in the darkest situations. It made our jobs more bearable. The earth was a better place because of Jayne. I loved her so much!

  2. Mrs. Jayne was my mentor when I started teaching 20 years ago. I adored her. I knew her from when I was little from her being friends and co-workers with my Momma, but I grew to love her then more than ever. She confidently pushed me in all the right directions while loving me like her own. There is no other in the world like Mrs Jayne. One in a million! She is forever in my heart.

  3. Pete and Ellen MacKercher says:

  4. I had the pleasure of working with Jane at NWH Elementary. Jane was a hoot! She kept me laughing and on my toes. I pray for y’all during this difficult time. Joe Grabowski

  10. Jayne, this world will be dimmer without your beautiful soul shining❣️ Girlfriend, I first met you when I drove a school bus and volunteered at school. You always made me feel welcome any and everywhere I saw you! You never knew a stranger, and you’d gather everyone into your circle 😊 I know you’ll shout my name out when I walk thru Heaven’s Gates, I’ll be there eventually sister😉🥰 Praying for your loved ones 🫶

We are so sorry to hear the sad news. Our condolences to the family . We still remember her beautiful happy smile. Our prayers are always with you.

  13. Jayne was a very important person in my life. She taught Special Education at a lower grade level than I did. She understood the trials and rewards of dealing with students and parents and the paperwork involved with Special Education. She had a love of poodles and ShihTzus that we both shared. We spent a lot of time together and made some great memories. I will miss her a lot but I know she had a great reunion with her family, her friends, and a loud and happy greeting from her animal friends,

  14. Mike, Jodi & Tim, I was so sad to hear about Jayne’s passing. I still have so many great memories of your mom while growing up on Holiday Lane.

  21. Jayne and I knew each other at Northside, just as acquaintances. But at Tech she became my neighbor, fellow newly wed, classmate, confidante, partner in crime and beloved friend. She was as bad as I was in communicating after college. We reconnected as our kids were teenagers and went to Tech homecoming and visited each other. Then, once again communication stopped. We retired, moved to Roger’s, became involved in the lives of our seven grandchildren, and our three daughters. I found the obit in the Tech newsletter today and am so sad. I hope Mike and kids are okay, I wonder how you got to Georgia, and hate that Jayne had Alzheimer’s.
One of the smartest people I have known had that terrible disease. It breaks my heart. Mike, if you get this, Pep and I both are so sorry and we send you our love and prayers. You can reach us at 479 619 8662 or 619 6533. Would love to hear from you. We are both on Facebook to under our names.
