Jeffrey Jack Waldrip passed away peacefully on September 25, 2025, at the age of 61.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Kimberly Waldrip (née Killingsworth), whose memory he cherished deeply. A loving father and grandfather, Jeffrey is survived by his son, Jeremy Waldrip; his daughter, Kelly Hargus and her husband Sean; and his cherished granddaughter, Lacie Hargus.
Jeffrey was a devoted member of Zion View Baptist Church in Austell, GA, where he served faithfully as a deacon. In his youth, he was an active member of the Jaycees club, where he began cultivating the leadership and service values that would define his life.
He had a passion for smoking foods in his backyard smoker, and his signature recipes earned local acclaim—featured proudly at Come-N-Get It restaurant in Marietta, GA. His warmth, generosity, and quiet strength touched the lives of many, and his legacy lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Southern Cremations & Funerals, with the funeral service and burial to follow.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Friends to the Forlorn Pitbull Rescue in Dallas, GA, an organization close to Jeffrey’s heart.

Jeff was my uncle and I always loved watching him grill or cookout. He looked inhis element and was always open to teach you a few things about grilling. You could smell his grill coming down the street, smelling of amazing food. I will forever miss him and know he’s happy finally reunited with his bride and parents.
Me and just was friends and I remember when he was in the Jaycees and he recruited me into them and I really enjoyed it and I would go to his house when he was still at his mom’s and we would play pool and I really enjoyed his friendship and he will really be missed RIP BROTHER
I remember riding the school bus with Jeff from elementary through high school. He was always such a kind, friendly, and quiet presence. A truly great guy who will be deeply missed by all of us. Steve Law

I heard a lot of good things about you. You sounded like a good man. I know that your sisters and nieces thought the world of you. They was always talking about your bbq that you would make in your backyard. They loved your bbq. Fly high and watch over them until they see you again.
