Joe Franklin DeLoach Sr.

Joe Franklin DeLoach Sr. passed away peacefully at Haralson County Nursing and Rehab on June 26, 2023, to be with his Lord and Savior at the age of 83. Mr. DeLoach was born in Columbus, Georgia on April 14, 1940. He is preceded in death by his father, mother, and 2 sisters. Joe is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Eva Nell DeLoach. Lovingly remembered by his two stepdaughters, Kathy (Ricky) Earwood of Hiram, GA, Penny (Eddie) Dewberry of Douglasville, GA; son, Joe Franklin (Janet) DeLoach Jr. of Winston, GA; brother, Jimmy (Rachel) DeLoach of Elberton, GA; brother-in-law, Paul (Deborah) Burns of Dothan, AL; sister-in-law, Dianne Patterson of Marietta, GA; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Joe worked as a construction worker for over 22 years for Dixie Construction Company of Atlanta, GA. Following that, he drove a tractor trailer for 10 years for the Postal Service before his retirement in 2001.
