Joshua Bramlett

Joshua Bramlett, 43, of Tyrone, GA, passed away suddenly on June 8, 2025. Born on December 16, 1981, in Douglasville, GA, Joshua was the beloved son of the late Anthony Paul Bramlett and Onieta Wright.Joshua never met a stranger. With a quick wit, infectious sense of humor, and a heart as big as his smile, he had a remarkable way of making everyone feel welcome. He loved the simple things in life—fishing, riding the back roads, and, most of all, spending time with those he loved.He was preceded in death by his parents, Anthony and Onieta, and his brothers, Shawn and Jason Bramlett.Joshua leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter. He is survived by his devoted wife, Vanessa Bramlett; his children, Amber and Shawn Bramlett of Franklin, NC, and Devin Starkey of Orangeburg, SC; his brothers, Jacob Bramlett and Christopher Combs Sr.; and his cherished aunt, Annie Wright.Joshua was also a proud uncle to many nieces and nephews who will always carry his memory in their hearts: Abigail Bramlett, Isabella Bramlett, Connor Bramlett, Cristopher Combs Jr., Elijah Combs, Dannon Combs, Shelby Lowery, Jackson Lowery, Chase Bramlett, Grayson Combs, and Rodney Combs.He will be deeply missed by countless extended family members and friends whose lives he touched with kindness and genuine compassion.A celebration of Joshua’s life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor his memory by sharing a story, casting a line in his name, or taking a ride down a quiet back road.Joshua’s spirit lives on in every smile, every laugh, and every act of kindness shared in his honor.
