Joyce Elizabeth Schulman

Joyce, 81, of Marietta, GA passed away on July 12th 2022 Joyce was predeceased by her parents, Scrub and Lucille Hardeman, as well as seven brothers and sisters. She is survived by her sister Delores Benefield and her three children, Susan Alexander, Bobbie McClure and Mark Robertson. Joyce grew up in Atlanta, GA., but spend most of life in Cobb County. She proudly became a first-time homeowner in 2000 and enjoyed her independence for many years. Joyce was a devout Christian and attended The Church of the Apostles. She was later hired by the church and was worked there until her retirement in 2016. Due to increasing health issues she the last couple of years of her life were spent at Roselane Health and Rehabilitation Center. This was a challenge during the Covid pandemic as no visitors were allowed. All visitors had to visit through a window for over a year. Thankfully over the last several months allowed for Susan, Bobbie and Mark a chance to embrace their mother inside the Roselane facility. The family is especially thankful to Roselane caregivers Sherry and Carmen. Joyce formed a friendship with these ladies, and she loved the additional attention and care that they provided. Joyce loved her children and they will miss her forever. Susan, Bobbie and Mark are grateful to have shared our lives with this exceptionally kind woman that had a beautiful smile for everyone she met. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
