Juan Alberto Almodovar-Galindez

Juan Almodovar Galindez passed away peacefully on Monday, September 22nd, at the age of 84 years. He is survived by his loving wife, three children, and three grandchildren. A proud veteran, Juan dedicated 32 years of his life to serving his country. His distinguished military career included service in the Army, the Army Reserve, and the National Guard as a nurse. He found joy in anything from a good baseball game, a spirited debate about politics, or a quiet afternoon spent in his backyard, tending to his plants. Above all, his love for God and his family was a light he shared freely, leaving a legacy that will never fade. A visitation will be held on Sunday, September 28, 2025, starting at 2:00 p.m. at Cheatham Hill Memorial Park in Marietta, GA, followed by a service at 3:30 p.m. The burial will take place at the Georgia National Cemetery located at 1080 Scott Hudgens Drive, Canton, GA, at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, September 29th. Any flowers should be sent to Cheatham Hill Memorial Park with a Saturday delivery.
