Judy Catherine Bussey

Judy Catherine Bussey was born on May 1, 1944, in Acworth, Georgia and passed away peacefully at home on February 1, 2023. She is predeceased by her husband, Raymond Bussey, as well as by her two sons Brook and Forrest Bussey. Judy will be lovingly remembered by her children Randall and Sue Bussey and Raymond and Jill Bussey; 2 sisters, Caroline and Esther; 2 brothers, Phillip and John; 12 grandchildren;30 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandson. Judy had a passion for traveling and traveled all over the world. She worked for Eastern Airlines and retired from this job. She continued traveling and modeled for Glamour Shots. She went back to school where she received her bachelor's degree in Computer Science. Judy also had a passion for the outdoors, she loved to garden, fish, paint, and loved the ocean. She loved her family more than anything. Thank you to her Hospice nurse, Gerry Loungtin, who showered Judy with love and compassion, and she loved her very much. A visitation with the family will be held at Southern Cremations and Funerals on February 13, 2023, from 10:00am to 12:00pm with service to follow immediately after. Burial will be held at Kennesaw Memorial Park after the service.
