Fairburn Southern Cremations & Funerals
Khonsavanh Mounarath was born in Xaisomboun, Laos on December 10, 1953. His mother Mok and father Moun Mounarath became a refugee and the family resided in United States to start a better life. He lived Clayton County, GA. He had 3 children, two in Laos and one here in Clayton County, GA Phonesavanh Amy Mounarath (20).
To some he was a great friend. To others, he was a loving father. He was a great character who loved singing and hanging out with his friends. He loved sitting outside staring at the sky no matter if it was day or night. He loved life and he loved spending time with his family. He was a hard working man and provider. He left an imprint on anyone whom he crossed paths with. No matter how hard life knocks him down, he always managed to get back up and keep moving. To know him was a pleasure, he never knew a stranger. He was a gentle soul that would do anything to help anyone and everyone.
My father was a strong mighty tree with deep roots and strong branches that spread all across America and over the seas to Laos and with those branches grew leaves of friends that became family, but like all trees they have their seasons. So, i want to thank everyone who was with him from the beginning, middle, and end.
