Kimberly Rebecca Ledford

Kimberly Rebecca Ledford, 39, passed away suddenly on March 12, 2023. Ms. Ledford was born on November 28, 1983 in Marietta, GA to John and Laurie Russell. Kim graduated from Harrison High School in May, 2002. She met the love of her life, Sean Ledford and the pair have been married for 18 years. Together, they have two beautiful children, Hayden (15) and Addison (13). Kim was a very loving wife and mom. She loved going to the ocean, making people happy, and caring for the needy. She devoted her career to children with special needs as their bus monitor with Cobb County School District Transportation. Along with her husband, children, and parents, Kim is lovingly remembered by her brother, John Russell Jr.; Father-In-Law, John Ledford; as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Kim is preceded in death by her Mother-In-Law, Emma Ledford; Grandparents, Tommy and Joanna Martin; Melvin and Mary Russell; Uncle, Tommy Martin Jr.; Great Grandmother, Donna Martin; Uncle Ricky and Aunt Sue Russell; and her Uncle Ron and Aunt Brenda Fuqua. Visitation will be held at Southern Cremations and Funerals at Cheatham Hill in the Columbarium, on Saturday March 18, 2023 at 2:00 pm with a service following from 3:00-4:00 pm. The family invites all who knew and loved Kim to come and celebrate her life.

  3. Kim where do I ever start? We started in Daycare together where our moms worked together and we went on to be in Elementary then middle then we got to Walk that stage together. You have always been the best friend to me. You are such a kind hearted woman that would have done anything for anyone especially the ones you love and care for.
