Larry Wayne Bradley

Larry Wayne Bradley, a beloved family man and respected veteran, passed away on the 28th of May 2024, at the age of 79, in Vancleave, Mississippi. Born on August 29, 1944, in Baltimore, Maryland, he served our country with honor and distinction in the United States Marine Corps from September 12, 1963, until August 8, 1967. After his military service, Larry dedicated himself to a successful career in commercial construction, where his skilled hands masterfully laid marble and ceramic/porcelain tiles. His work ethic and the beauty of his craftsmanship will be remembered by all who walked the floors he created. A man of many interests and talents, Larry was known for his affection for Texas Hold'em, baseball, and an extensive collection of BMWs. His love of literature shone through his passion for western novels. Yet, above all, his greatest pleasure was his family. He was a devoted grandfather, treasuring every moment with his grandchildren, imparting wisdom and sharing laughter. Larry is survived by his loving son, Jeffery Swann; daughter-in-law, Alisha Swann; Linda Losa, stepdaughter; Irwan Saptadi, Step-son-in-law; Robbie Hermanto, stepson; Fini Rokayah, stepdaughter-in-law; adoring grandchildren and step-grandchildren who cherished every story and lesson he imparted; his stepmother, Louis Bradley; brother, Don Bradley; sister-in-law, Karen Bradley; sister, Dianne North; and brother-in-law, Bill North, along with his devoted nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death was his wife, Lian Tjen Bradley; his parents, A.B. Bradley and Doris Bradley; and sister, Barb Bradley. The Swann/Bradley family cordially invites those who wish to honor Larry's memory to attend his memorial services to be held on June 14, 2024, at Southern Cremations & Funerals in Marietta, GA, from 8:30 to 9:30 in the morning. Following the memorial, a burial with full military honors will occur at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA. Southern Cremation & Funerals of Marietta, GA, is entrusted with the arrangements. Larry's legacy of love, courage, and family devotion remains a beacon to all those who had the privilege of knowing him. His memory will be eternally treasured in the hearts of his loved ones.
